Giancarlo Mariutto was raised to play professional tennis in Wesley Chapel, FL and when that didn’t work out, he made his way to NYC, where the nearest tennis court was unaffordable.
Since then, he has created Emmy award-winning content for Disney, Discovery Films, Nickelodeon, PBS, Cartoon Network, and Comedy Central. He’s most proud of his work with the US Department of Education, developing educational programming for low-income households.
Outside his career in media, Giancarlo enjoys performing comedy at NYC theaters that used to exist, like the UCB and PIT. For the sheer fun of it, he gives tours as a licensed New York City sightseeing guide and hopes to someday trap you at a party to talk about how a 13-mile island grew from a rickety Dutch trading post to the world's greatest metropolis.
